A Maynard 1882 .32 caliber Patent Single Shot rifle, 28" bbl., Swiss style buttplate, pistol grip, checkered forend and grip, tang sight, nickel finish, round/octagon barrel. The scope is a 3/4" blued steel tube, 20 3/4" long with steel caps, marked "Wm. Malcolm" on the top. The scope is clear and the reticles are crisp. The scope is mounted to the barrel with a floating front mount and an adjustable rear mount. The bore is mostly bright with a few scattered pits. The front site is plugged, the finish on the barrel is a smooth mottled brown/grey, approximately 60% of the plating remains on the reciever. The stock and forend show wear to the checkering and various dents and dings. The center piece of the grip is loose. The barrel and reciever surfaces have a few dings and sparse medium pitting.
