A very nice Mexican Mauser, 7 x 57, Saddle Ring Carbine.  The rifle has an even grayish/blue patina with evidence of browning/light rust on the floorplate and triggerguard. The bore shows sharp rifling with some light pitting.  Missing cleaning rod. Non-matching numbers on bolt and receiver, ramp elevated rear sight and ear protected front sight.  Generally a rare rifle made rarer by it exceptional condition. S/N17422
