BAKER GUN CO. 12 GAUGE SIDE-BY-SIDE SHOTGUN. Baker was the trade name for guns manufactured or, imported by Crescent Arms and sold by H & D Folsom, a New York Arms retailer during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. This beauty, s/n 518, features 30", ribbed, Damascus barrels, mirror-bright bores, and engraved receiver, trigger guard and side plates. Although unmarked, the barrels appear to be fully choked. Sliding safety on the tang, rubber pad on the butt, the stock featuring a checkered fore end and pistol grip with gutta purcha cap, the wood in nice condition, noting some wear to the checkering.
