COLT THUNDERER.  This 6" DA revolver was Colt's first double action model. S/N 125070, In 41 caliber, the largest offered in this model is quite desirable. The bore is reasonably defined but, shows some minor pitting. Original checkered gutta purcha grips, showing some wear. The barrel is marked "Colt's Patent FA MFG CO/HARTFORD CT USA" and the frame shows the three line patent dates. The side of the barrel is marked "COLT 41 DA. No original finish and scattered pitting.
