The receiver is based on a falling block action, operated by a lever, which is marked with two numbers, 124 and 32, and retains traces of case color.  The wood is in excellent condition, with checkered pistol grip and fore end. A gutta purcha butt plate, with the H&A logo is in excellent condition. Noting a few minor scratches to the butt stock, in fine condition overall.
