A Marlin Model 1893, .30-30, 26" Octagonal Bbl. with steel crescent butplate,  straight grip stock, ramp adjustable rear sight, blade front sight,  stock shows light mars and dings, holes in butt and forend for a rifle sling stud. 

Blued barrel shows some browning, finish loss and brightness on the sharp edges of the barrel, receiver appears mostly brushed with some vestige of case remaining.   The bore shows sharp rifling with slight darkened and very light pitting.
