A Remington 1871 Army Rolling Block Pistol, circa1872-1888. 50 cal. center fire, single shot, 8" round barrel. Walnut grips and forend. Blued finish with case hardened frame and trigger guard; hammer and breechblock finished bright. Frame markings are, " REMINGTONS ILION. N.Y. U.S.A/PAT. MAY 15th,1864APRIL17th,1866 P, S". An 'H" is stamped on the butt and "LRS" is stamped on the grip left side. S/N 3702. Condition: Fine.
