Remington 1891 Target Rolling Block Pistol, single shot, 38CF caliber. A 9", staged, round/round  "H. M. POPE" barrel, and so marked, has been fitted to the frame. The frame is marked, "REMINGTONS ILLION. N.Y. U.S.A./PAT.MAY 3 NOV. 15th, 1864 APRIL 17th, 1866 PS.  Thwe barrel features a patridge style adjustable sight. Both fore stock and grips are checkered with small wood losses in corners.. Strong barrel blue and an excellent bore, with minor spotting.
