Venezuela adopted the SAFN in 1950-1951, buying about 8,000 rifles in 7x57 Mauser caliber. This rifle has a 23 3/4" bbl, Venezualan crest on receiver, corrugated sheet steel buttplate and muzzle brake, non-detachable, 10 cartridge box magazine, the bore is bright with crisp rifling, strong bluing throughout all the blued surfaces.  the stock is in excellent condition showing only a few small dents and minor scratches.
