MODEL 1894 SWEDISH MAUSER CARBINE,  7x57, turned-down bolt, 18” barrel with good bore,1/2" barrel extension as added by importer, blade front sight and ladder type rear sight, chip in the stock oringinating at the butplate and extending to the sling slot, original sling and mounts, the receiver ring marked, “CARL GUSTAFS STADS/GEVARSFACTORI/ 1916” under the Swedish Crown and Royal Cipher. A round, arsenal inventory plate, held by two screws, is attached to the right side of the butt, and is marked “S/F8/No 74”(Apparently this translates to "Skarpskjutnings vapen Plygflottilj 8" which tranlates to "Live ammo practice weapon 74 assigned to air wing 8"). Fine condition, overall. Scarce carbine. Every part Serial # Match, Not import marked.  Original Sling- some flame stripe figure on the stock. S/N 68282.
