Hard to find Uruguayan military contract Remington Rolling Block M.1902 saddle ring carbine in 7 x 57 mm Mauser caliber , 20” barrel, dark bore, strong rifling. “REMINGTON ARMS CO./ILION, N.Y. U.S.A./PATENTED OCTR, 22nd, 1901”. The barrel displays caliber designation, "CAL. 7 MM" and a serial or an issue number, "713". Blade front sight and graduated rear sight, sling mounts are present. The butt stock is marked with a round, illegible(Uraguayan) seal and a numeral “8”.  fine condition, crisp action, noting wear and use.   S/N 713. (ref#29)
