SOLD 47920 Whitney 2nd Model, 3rd Type Percussion Navy Revolver in 36 caliber
The Whitney 2nd Model, 3rd type percussion Navy revolver in 36 caliber “E. WHITNEY/N. HAVEN” barrel markings weak but readable, with about 86% fading blue. Pine front sight on 7 ½” barrel. Wood grips retain about 90% varnish, with no chips. Blued 6 shot cylinder, has 80% finish. There are traces of blue on the trigger guard, and traces of case color on both hammer and loading lever. Dirty bore.
