In 38-56 WCF, and so-marked on the top flat, of the 26" full-octagon barrel, and is fitted with a blade sight at the muzzle and an adjustable ramp (replaced) sight at the rear. The receiver, full magazine and barrel have a patinated finish. The bore is light with scattered pitting. Well-used, but sound wood, fitted with a crescent butt plate. Noting the Winchester barrel markings are readable, but worn. S/N, 64678 on the lower tang, which lacks one of the screws. A good, representative Model 1886.
