Batterman’s appreciates the value you place on the items you wish to bring to sale, which is why all consignments begin with a consultation.
The following may help you organize the items you wish to sell:
1. Be able to describe what you would like to sell.
2. Organize the items into one location.
3. If possible, find the manuals and/or paperwork (sales receipts, interesting history or research, packaging) for your items, as this often increases the value considerably.
4. Make sure everything is as presentable as possible.
5. Create a list of your items, and if possible take a few pictures so we have a better understanding of your items.
A Batterman’s representative will inspect your items, probably take some pictures and collect information necessary to present you with a proposal. Upon acceptance of the proposal, Batterman’s will begin the process of organizing the auction your items will go into or the gallery. Preparations include arranging for moving the items (if necessary), scheduling the auction (for onsite auctions), preparing brochures and ads, setting up and conducting the auctions, collecting and accounting for the auction proceeds and distribution of the auction proceeds. The proceeds from most auctions are available in about 20 banking days from the date of the auction.

Do I need have a contract to sell my items with you?
Yes, we have a simple contract for consignors. You may recieve a copy of our contract by contacting us at Battermans.com, or 928-445-6787.
How much do I get from an item of mine that sells?
We have a sliding scale commission. The more your item brings, the more you make! The sliding scale is part of the contract so be sure to stop by and pick up a contract, or simply contact us at 928-445-6787.
Will you pick up an item from my house?
Our Batterman's trucks provide both pick-up and delivery service for your convience. We charge $65 per hour for most items and will even move pianos for a $200.00 fee within the tri-city area (minimal steps).
What type of items does Batterman's sell?
We are experienced in selling a wide variety of items! Specifically antiques, firearms (we are an FFL dealer), coins, RV's, regular household items, antique, vintage, or new furniture. Basically, anything you have to sell!
May I have an auction at my own house?
We would be happy to hold an estate sale, or an auction at your location. Things to consider about holding an auction. or sale at your business or house:
- Do you have a large number of items to sell?
- Do you have parking?
- Do you need permission from your homeowners association to conduct the sale?
- Are there too many "non-sale" items, which would confuse buyer's in the area in which you would have the sale?
