Original acrylic on panel by one of the finest tromp l'oeil painters of his time. James M. Triggs studied at Cornell and Pratt and went on to become a Consultant and Advertising Director then freelance associate at Sturm, Ruger & Company for over twenty years. "The Red Barn"  featured on the left is the first  Sturm-Ruger factory in Southport, Connecticut as it appeared in 1949. Other painting elements include the Red Hawk emblem, a portrait of William Ruger and an the original prototype of the first automatic pistol. These works are highly sought after by serious art collectors. Original panel measures 14.5" high by 14.5" wide. Framed.
